The Personal Training Budget (PTB)?

WHAT is a PTB ?

A PTB is a personal budget of EUR 500 to finance training costs:

Registration and course materials (for training only)
Travel (legal intervention): on the basis of a certificate of attendance
Childcare costs: 1 euro per hour of official childcare

Who can benefit from a PTB?

IVOC exclusively serves employees from the clothing and CMT (Cut, Made, Trim) industry in Belgium. These persons have an employment contract within the joint labour committee 109 or 215.

Check your wage slip to be certain that IVOC can help you!

You can only apply for a Personal Training Budget BEFORE the start or DURING the course.

Training cheques from the Flemish Government ?

You can combine an IVOC PTB with training cheques, and increase your budget.

Which courses can I choose?

Training should strengthen your skills for your job and in the labour market.

You can register for several training courses to use the budget of your PTB.

The training centre, the place, the formula (group, individual, e-learning…) , … are of no relevance for the budget.

Vocational training in fashion/assembly: Interior decoration, Clothing accessories, Professional knitting techniques, Women’s , Men’s and Children’s clothing, Colour and style consult, Leather craftsmanship, Lingerie & corsetry, Machine technique, Fashion designer, Model study, Assembly of ready-to-wear items, Pattern drawing, Shoe design

Professional software related to the fashion industry

Computer training

Language training

Driving lessons (only for jobs that require a driving licence)

Strengthening of personal skills : assertiveness, attitude, communication, train-the-trainer, presentation skills, tutoring

Prevention : first aid, prevention advisor

As an employee in the clothing and ready-to-wear garments sector you qualify for all open IVOC training courses FREE of charge.

How it works

PTB request

You complete the form
We check if your training meets the conditions
You will receive a confirmation with your login and password to access your personal space

You can only reserve a budget BEFORE or DURING your training!

NO intervention for a completed training!

For training courses that last several school years, you must ask for a budget each year!

Apply for a PTB

Reimbursement of your expenses

At the end of your training, you collect your proof of payment and proof of attendance
Registration fees and materials (materials that are not specific to your training are not included)
Travel expenses :
– about 0.44 euro per km (legal rate in force)
– distance larger than 2.5 km between the place of training and your home
– only for personal vehicles (no company car)
– public transport costs accepted
– the fees are calculated on the basis of your certificate of attendance
Childcare costs (1 euro per hour, for an official and invoiced childcare)

Attention: expenses over 18 months old are no longer taken into account!
